Early life and careerEdit

Soul Wrestling IncorporatedEdit

World title chase (2005 - 2008)Edit

SP signed with SWI in September 2005, making his debut on the October 12 show by defeating The Sheriff. SP entered the hunt for the SWI North American Championship, receiving a title shot on January 18, but losing to Daniel Rebel. SP soon turned his attention to the World title scene, losing to XS3 on the May 13 episode of Apocalypse. SP competed in the first ever Versus the World match at Independence, but was eliminated by Necrosphere. SP then feuded with the C.A.R., defeating Chris Cool at Kill or Be Killed. In November, SP entered a tournament for the vacant SWI World Championship, defeating Ken Williams in the first round. His match with Rainmaster ended in a draw, but both men, along with Necrosphere, competed for the title at Broken Chains. Rainmaster won the match, pinning Necrosphere.

At Destiny Fulfilled, SP captained Team SWI (including Overkill, Perro Loco, and Frankie Starr) against Team Fallout (Daniel Ness, Sylvan Mint, Sgt. Pilko, and Colossus Rhodes), with Frankie pinning Ness after the Starrmaker. The following month, SP resumed his World title hunt, losing a battle royal at Beginning Anew. During the match, SP suffered a shoulder injury, keeping him out of action until April. SP wrestled Frankie Starr to a draw at Questions Unanswered in a #1 contenders match. SP then led his team (Rainmaster, Overkill, and Perro Loco) to victory against Edgemaster's team (him, Frankie, Arn Allen, and Yoshiro Atoshi) in the first ever Harbor Cage match at Renewal, pinning Edgemaster last to gain a World title match.

At Independence, SP defeated Edgemaster to finally win the SWI World Championship, despite interference from Trinity. SP then retained the title in the Versus the World match at Disasterpiece, then against Mr. Besser at Unholy Confessions. SP entered a feud with Ken Davids, defeating him at Betrayal to retain the World title. On the following episode of Apocalypse, SP lost the World title to Davids in a fatal four way match involving CK Miles and Survivor, when Davids pinned CK. At Kill or Be Killed: The Final Chapter, SP wrestled for the title in a triple threat match, losing the match when Davids pinned Edgemaster. SP then challenged for the title at Broken Chains, but was finally defeated in a singles match by Davids. SP then competed in various matches throughout the Underground Era, including defeating Davids at the following Broken Chains.

Color commentary and retirement (2009 - present)Edit

SP involved himself in Trinity's feud with Rainmaster, teaming with Rainmaster at Beginning Anew: The Rebirth in a losing effort to Trinity. SP was not seen since then, taking over as the new head of SWI's official website. After Bob Killoski's battle with lung cancer began in July 2009, SP returned in an on-screen role as a temporary color commentator. When Killoski passed in November, SP became the permanent color commentator, a position he has held since then. SP wrestled his last match at Destiny Fulfilled, losing to long-time rival Ken Davids.

After Monty James won the SWI World Championship, SP briefly quit his position, claiming he would not come back until Monty lost the title. He was temporarily replaced by Austin Wildside. When Blackwolf won the title from Monty at Destiny Fulfilled, SP made his return and delivered the Robbed Blind to Wildside, taking back his position. In November 2013, SP briefly came out of retirement to challenge Carter Starr for the SWI World Championship at Broken Chains. SP lost the match, but was praised for his performance in the match.

Personal lifeEdit

Robertson married Kayla Kanyon on August 4, 2006, but the two officially divorced on June 14, 2008. They have one child together, Brittany Lynn (September 9, 2007). Robertson almost committed suicide through overdose on sleeping pills in October 2008, but was talked out of it by his girlfriend at the time and was sent to rehab. Robertson has been sober since January 1, 2009 and became a born-again Christian on February 13, 2009.
